Treasurer Report KL0UD reported that the club's account, including self-insurance and repeater fund, came to $3,660.74. She also reported that the bank was still charging for the use of Quicken to manage account information, even though she had ended that arrangement in favor of an Excel spreadsheet.
KL0UD noted that the most recent phone bill payment, to service autopatch, covered two months, but that she is arranging to have the phone bill paid by automatic draft in the future.

Program
KL0UD gave a presentation on CoCoRaHS, a program to increase the coverage of rain, snow and hail observation data available to climate researchers and other users including the National Weather Service. CoCoRaHS began in Colorado and has already spread to 27 states, with several more including Georgia to come online in 2008. Participants record precipitation daily at or around 7:00 a.m. using a standard 4-inch rain gauge, and report it via the internet.
After the program, the meeting was adjourned.
