Chris KL0UD announced that volunteers will be needed to serve as net control on the evenings of November 11, 18 and 25. Sam KI4WNA volunteered to run the net on November 18. Chris said she would send an appeal for more volunteers via the Coweta ARES and BGMRC email reflectors.Net concluded at 2108 hrs.
Chris KL0UD announced that she, Bill K4WPM, and Kevin AK4MC attended a fast-track workshop in Fayetteville last Thursday (10/25) evening to cover three NIMS courses that are required of ARES volunteers. The material for all three courses -- ICS-100, ICS-200 and ICS-700 -- was covered in two and a half hours by Lynn Bianco KN4YZ and David Benoist AG4ZR.Net concluded at 2107 hrs.
Bill K4WPM announced that we will have a table set up next to the county's Mobile Command Center at the Coweta County Fair, which starts this Thursday, 9/20, and runs through Saturday, 9/29. We will staff the table 6 to 9pm each day, with more hours on weekends if sufficient volunteers are found. Eddie Ball WB4QAU has also requested that ACS/ARES/RACES/BGMRC members get training on some new equipment in the mobile command post; we can do this in the evenings as well. Bill will try to bring some existing BGMRC flyers; Chris KL0UD will bring ARES/RACES flyers. At present it is unknown who has the K4NRC banner -- it was last seen at Field Day, so please let Bill know if you have it.

Kevin AK4MC spoke about some updates he's made to the cowetaares.org website:
The information about the weekly nets, which had referred to the WX4ACS repeater, now refers correctly to the BGMRC repeater, with (added immediately after the net) 146.79 as backup.
A considerable amount of information previously stored on the site that is available in more up-to-date form elsewhere, has been removed and the site now links to those offsite resources at ARRL.org and FEMA.gov.
The MOU with Coweta EMA and the most recent Coweta ARES SOP are still on the site and are still linked from the main page. Technical reference documents for a couple of antennas and describing the Anderson power pole connectors are still on the site as well by way of the "General Reference Library" link.
Links to Coweta EMA and Georgia ARES websites have been added to the main page.
I've established a page at Blogspot.com (CowetaARES.blogspot.com) where Coweta ARES announcements, such as the weekly net recaps, will be posted once they're ready. If you go to CowetaARES.org and click on "Announcements, Etc." you'll be taken to that page. This way if someone has missed a net and perhaps not received an email through the Coweta ARES reflector, they should still be able to find it.
I expect to have information regarding SATERN on the site fairly soon.
