The March eating meeting will be held at Catfish Hollow Restaurant at Thomas Crossroads. Subject to change, the date and time are tentatively Tuesday, March 25 (two days after Easter) at 7:00 p.m. Members should contact if they have conflicts with this date.
The future of the weekly 2m BGMRC net on the 145.13 repeater every Sunday evening was a subject of discussion. It will no longer be possible to rely on a single "default" net control now that the Sunday net is no longer an ARES activity.
Despite having been told to stop charging the club for certain online services, BB&T continues to assess those charges. KL0UD will try one more time to put a stop to the charges, and to reverse those already assessed; the option of changing banks may have to be considered if this problem continues.

Announcements:
The ARES nets are now taking place on Tuesday night at 2100 hrs via the KK4GQ 145.21 repeater in Fayetteville, linked to the N4OME repeater at 147.165 (+) with a 131.8 PL tone.
The Sunday night net on 145.13 is expected to continue as long as there remains interest in having it. More volunteers to run the net will always be appreciated. KI4WNA was thanked for having volunteered to run the net next Sunday.
The WX4PTC severe weather net operated this afternoon while tornado warnings were in effect in the area. As with the Tuesday night ARES nets, the severe weather nets are linked to the N4OME repeater.

The hosting account for BGMRC.org is being moved to ad-free donated space on a new server, but it's going to take a little time for the change to make its way through what we internet geeks call "DNS propagation" (hams should understand about propagation...) so in the meantime the BGMRC website is at BGMRC.info.
I hope to have an update soon announcing that BGMRC.org is back up and running.
